What guests actually keep saying
Read them together and the same three things come up over and over. That's more useful than any average:
- The cars are clean. It's the single most repeated word. Turning a car over properly takes about an hour longer than turning it over quickly, and it is the difference between a five-star review and a three.
- Replies are fast. Guests mention it unprompted, which tells you how rare it is. If you message before booking, you'll get an answer — that's the whole test of a host.
- The Accord's fuel economy surprises people. Two separate guests brought up gas mileage without being asked. On a Smokies week that's real money.

💡 Why you can trust these more than testimonials on a website. Turo reviews can only be left by someone who actually paid for and completed a trip, and the host can't edit or remove them. That's a meaningfully higher bar than a quote box a business types up itself.
Why we care this much about a rating
Running a small fleet, a rating isn't vanity — it's the whole business. Three cars we personally clean and maintain will always beat thirty we've never sat in, and one bad review costs far more than the hour we'd have saved by cutting a corner. That's the actual reason the cars are clean when you get them.
